About the book

The new edition of the Journal of William Dowsing was published in February 2001, by Boydell & Brewer in association with the Ecclesiological Society.

It will appeal to anyone who loves the old parish churches of East Anglia.

It will also be of great interest to historians of iconoclasm, and the religious changes of the 1630s and 1640s.
